                                                                Dark, Smart & Beautiful

                                                                  Testimonials

I signed up my 6yr old daughter for the ‘Great Contributions to Civilization from Africa’ summer course and we are loving every minute of it!

My 9yr old ended up joining and loving it too, she says it was not the summer school she was expecting - it was far better!

Both girls are learning so much and come away after each lesson with a positive perception and memory of Africa and the capabilities and achievements of Africans. The course was made relatable by referencing the tools and methods we use everyday and linking them back to the advancements of their ancestors.

Tamkara’s nature is genuinely gentle, supportive and positive. She is so caring, respectful and encouraging when teaching and it makes the kids feel valued and deserving which is such a great bonus on top of the history lessons!

I definitely recommend the course for anyone wanting to have a more accurate perception of Africa. It’s great for the children to learn this while they are young and before they learn about the world from a colonised perspective in school/media etc. The course would also be a great resource for homeschooling as it is broken down into weekly themes ‘science and tech’ ‘architecture and design’ etc.

                                                                  Jamie M

Rated 5-stars by parents like you!

**Rather than buy our kids what we never had, let's teach them early what we never knew.

Welcome to our community of knowledge sharing!
