Happy Client Review:
We had the great pleasure of working with Ọdúnìfẹ́ Language Centre who provided translation and pronunciation guides for the Australian season of Disney in Concert at the Sydney Opera House and Arts Centre Melbourne. Tamkara and the team at Ọdúnìfẹ́ delivered high quality translations and audio pronunciation files of the lyrics of The Circle of Life (The Lion King). The guides were not only user-friendly and accurate but they also ensured our artists were able to approach the Zulu text with confidence, nuance and a greater understanding of the cultural context of the music. Thank you Tamkara and Ọdúnìfẹ́ for sharing your wisdom, passion and culture with us.

Bahati is the best language teacher I have EVER had! He made sure I had a strong foundation of the sounds specific to each letter and letter-combination, and because he was so thorough, I was able to say full sentences by the end of my first lesson. He is patient, knowledgeable, and made sure I understood each part of the lesson before moving forward to the more difficult concepts. By the end of the series I was able to have short conversations, using full sentences in past tense, present tense and future tense. He made learning fun and easy!!! Additionally, he has an excellent command of English which allowed him to explain the meanings behind KiSwahili terms, which increased my understanding of how to speak KiSwahili. He was ALWAYS prepared with a slideshow for the lesson and a whiteboard to explain terms. I could tell he really loves to teach by the dedication he had to making sure I learned to speak the language naturally. He corrected me gently and always celebrated me when I spoke the terms properly. I will return for the next part of the KiSwahili series with Mwalimu Bahati!! Thank you Tamkara!

It was a really good lesson! For feedback, I would say I liked how he broke things down and was very patient with the fact that I’m a beginner. It was just the first lesson so hopefully, as we go along I can learn more about how to structure sentences in Igbo. But overall, it was really good and helpful and I’m excited to learn more.

For me it was a positive experience. Mr. Babatunde was relaxed and easy going and made it comfortable for me to get started with the material. it was nice that he also talked a bit about the context of the language. I think it was good that he adapted to my way of learning quickly and had sight for where to speed up or slow down, and didn't stick to a fixed way of teaching.

Nathaniel comes across as a good and patient teacher whom promoted and gave time to each of us which was appreciated. He was very encouraging and the lesson was fun and informative. It is good to know that future lessons will also include some time spent on learning more about Ghanaian culture.

Odunife was a tremendous resource as we unearthed our connection to an Indigenous tongue. The workshops and sessions were incredibly engaging, thoughtful, and compatible with real life.
We loved that the facilitators were from different African countries - enriching us who are in the US with more cultural awareness and understanding.
The founder Tamkara, was present and delightful, every step of the way and made the experience one to remember always.
