The Learning Experience

This is a self-paced E-course with lifetime access.
Learners will learn about African history from a decolonized perspective and in a way that honors the contributions of the African ancestors.

Most mainstream curricula begin African history with enslavement and colonization, leaving out the rich historical heritage of ancient African societies.
This friendly course is designed to teach African history from the very beginning. It balances the narrative by providing a descriptive and corrective overview that starts from the beginning and introduces the student to Africa as the cradle of humanity and the ancestor of the world.

At the end of each lesson, there is an opportunity for self-reflection, pulse check, and inquiry:
Have my perceptions changed?

By doing this, we hope to build deeper respect and gratitude for their historical heritage for children of African descent and Black Children whilst also providing a learning experience and an appreciation of African history for their non-Black friends and allies.

Who is this Course for?

This E-course is suitable for children from 6-13 years.
I have structured it in such a way that older children, parents, and teachers can benefit from the lessons, learning materials, and resources.

Are you a parent that wants to explore African history with your children?
Are you a homeschooler, teacher, or a curious adult who simply loves to learn?
This Course will present African history to you in a fun, decolonized way and provide you with the materials and resources to share this information with your children, students, nieces, and nephews.

What does the E-course entail?

Learners will experience African history in a way that affirms and educates whilst building self-knowledge, self-pride, respect for themselves and for others.
